AUDIO-VISUAL INSTALLATION.
IN COLLABORATION WITH AYAL ROSENBERG

3-minute audio-visual installation that re-creates the cockpit of a spaceship. A view into a windshield and the ship-log of a lone astronaut immerse the spectator on a journey of self-reflection and loss. My collaborator, Ayal, and I were interested in creating an experience that would bring the current lack of urgency towards the changing climate into the foreground. This intention is paired with a desire to use spectacle and fiction to create a person and emotional impact that leaves a visitor with food for thought unlike other productions that place awe, wonder and excitement at the forefront.

All of the visuals are mapped onto surfaces that were cut out of wood and either hung or lodged into old computer monitors. A subwoofer behind the scenes creates sensorial feedback for the immersant, in addition to headphones with an accompanying soundscape.
