Isabella Vento (Italy) is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher. She has recently graduated from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). Her latest experiments wrestle with the repercussions of the Anthropocene in urban landscapes, where she has resided most of her life. She also plays with lens-based and digital techniques to create humorous performances and site-specific interventions that prod at humans’ relationship to space, locality and identity in the digital age.
Previously she was stationed in London, where she attained industry-level experience in stop-motion, model-making, graphic design and video. She has performed and exhibited work in venues, festivals and project spaces in New York, San Francisco, London and Ibiza. Currently, she lives and works in New York.
